Litter Ladies provides weekly litter box cleaning services to keep your home safe and toxoplasmosis-free, especially for pregnant mothers. Our $35/week service includes 3 visits per week, with a one-time $50 setup fee to get you started.  Once service is established, a deep clean is performed at the end of every 2 weeks.

Tosoplasmosis is a parasitic infection caused by Toxoplasma gondii,  which poses significant dangers, particularly to certain vulnerable populations.  In healthy individuals, it often causes mild or no symptoms, but in pregnant women, the parasite can cross the placenta, potentially leading to severe complications, such as miscarriage, stillbirth, or congenital disabilities in the fetus, including vision loss, intellectual disabilities, and seizures.  Additionally, individuals with weakened immune systems, such as those with HIV/AIDS or undergoing chemotherapy, are at high risk of developing severe, life-threatening complications like encephalitis or other organ damage.  The parasite is commonly transmitted through exposure to infected cat feces, emphasizing the importance of proper hygiene to prevent infection.
